Best candidate: excess fat, wrinkled, drooping skin of upper eyelids; bags, puffiness under eyes.
Necessary results of blood tests and other examinations: blood morphology and SR (sedimentation rate), coagulogram (APTT, INR), serum glucose and electrolytes levels, Ekg (only for patients older than 55 y.o.) HBs, HCV and HIV.
Examination can be carried out on arrival to Polandon patients cost but it should be remembered that bad tests results can exclude surgery. The clinic is not held responsible for such a situation and does not return costs of a trip and stay in such cases.
Type of anaesthesia: local or general
Length of procedure: 0.5-1 hour
Stay in the clinic: patient leave clinic on the same day.
Post-surgery checkups and possible suture removal: Post-surgery checkups – on 5rd day after surgery and prior to departure from Poland. Sutures removal after 5 days.
Type of discomfort and limitations in normal vital activity during stay in Poland: after surgery no pain ailments occur. Bruising and swelling on upper and bottom lids are typical. These bruising usually recede gradually within 7-10 days.
Minimal stay in Poland: 6 days. 5 days after surgery and a consultation 1 day before surgery.
Back to work: within about 10 days (visible swelling and bruising is the only reason)
